Welcome to NLPJC!
If you are searching for new ways to explore and experience Judaism that is meaningful to you, within Inner North London, we may well be the community for you.
We invite you to explore our web-site. We are friendly, experimental and build on Jewish tradition, and we are finding new ways of creating a community that meets the needs of a very diverse range of men and women of all ages and backgrounds. Have a read of Who We Are. Whether you are Jewish by birth, choice or just curious we encourage you to find out more about us.
Our calendar of events includes social, educational and spiritual activities. Different members are developing differing interests.
Rabbi Shulamit conducts services in English and Hebrew and provides commentaries and page guidance in English - you'll be able to follow the entire service. We also offer a pre-Service Torah and Talmud study group, a cheder/religion school and a creche.

There will be a special one-off session of our Adult Education programme on Tuesday 23rd June, at 7pm, facilitated by Rabbi Shulamit Ambalu. Raising Children Our Way
Three 1 hour meetings, as part of our Tuesday evening Adult Education programme, at 7pm, on 30th June, 7th July and 14th July.
This mini-course is for parents and parents-to-be, in families with Jewish and non-Jewish members.

Barry Davis is an actor and a translator of Yiddish, and has taught Yiddish at Oxford, LJCC, Spiro Ark and SOAS.
He is a writer and lecturer in Jewish History and has taught at Warwick, Kingston and Thames Valley Universities.
He will be talking about the History of Yiddish.
